Finishing your Tessellation

Now that you have done tracing with a permanent marker you color inside of the drawing you made on your shirt. Put a paper  inside of the shirt  so when you are coloring it won’t go to the other side. When you color choose carefully what colors you want because then you are going to make a mistake and you won’t be able to change the color. In the back side you design it however you like to design it. You could put your name and draw on your shirt, then with some vinegar it would spread and look cool. Then you put alcohol so when you watch it none of the colors will wash away. Then you are finish doing your tessellation shirt.

How to make your Tessellation T-shirt

To start your Tessellation T-shirt you are going to start with your materials. You need a Shirt, Permanent Markers, your three patterns, Newspaper, and a Hanger. To start you need to get your shirt, a pattern, and a pencil. You get your pattern and put it under the shirt make sure that you can see the pattern under the shirt. Then you get your pencil and trace it on the shirt with the pencil. When you are done tracing with the pencil get a Black Permanent Marker and trace it again. When you are finish you need your hanger and newsletter. You get your newsletter and put it in inside the hanger and then you put the hanger inside the shirt. In front of the shirt put the pattern and with some vinegar so it could translate to the shirt and then you use some alcohol in the shirt too. Then on the back you could design it how you like to. Then you have your Tessellation T-shirt.

 

 

                               

       

Tesselation

Tessellation is to learn how to make patterns. Tessellation is to make patterns however you want to make them. To do a Tessellation you need three papers and three patterns two are from a book but different pages and the third one is from your brain.  Then you can make your Tessellation on the three papers each different Tessellation on a different paper.  When you do your Tessellation you have to be careful with what you are drawing because then you are going to have to start again. When you are finish drawing and coloring then the fun parts begins.



 

Introduction

     In math class we are doing a project about Tessellation. Tessellation means having a checkered or moddled appearance. We have three different patterns. 1. One pattern from a page. 2. Second pattern from another page. 3. Third pattern from your brain. You need permanent markers and a T-shirt to paint it. Tessellation is something you can do you draw a shape then you draw it down and then to the side. You can even color them when you are finish drawing them. Tessellation is part of math too. So some students are learning about Tessellation in Math and some are not learning Tesselation.
